Dive into new skills, animals, and NPC's never seen before in the original 2D Harvest Moon single player games! Harvest Moon: New Generation offers a variety of experiences and fun that take Harvest Moon to a totally new level!
[b]Story lineThe story line has been changed big time, the new game takes place in a small town, called Eldwood. The season never changes from winter, yet the sprites manage to keep everything alive and well, as if it weren't. - Spoiler:
The air was chilly, not cold, more breezy. The sun was set just right over
the hill so that it made it look like the whole valley was a big block of
shining gold. Even the hermits house, Mr. Robinson, his house was shining,
despite the fact it was really covered in a dank grey cloud of dust. The bar
that sat tightly next to the inn played a soft tune that really set the tone
for the time of day, outside was a menstrual sitting on the village bench,
Billy, he mimicked the soft tune played from within the bar. Inside the inn,
not far from the bench, everyone was sleeping quietly, every now and then
you'd here a small scratch of someone snoring, or Jaimee's cat skittering
across the wood floor. Jaimee owns the inn, and owned it for a good 20 years
now. Scattered across the beautiful plains of Eldwood were many houses, and
ranches, more successful than Barry, who owned the only shop to ever exist
in Eldwood. No one expected the day would come when the school boys could
never see summer, or spring, or fall again. No one expected it at all, it
all...just happened..The night was a bitter cold, it was in the month of
June, the birds sat snugly in their nests, singing lullabies to the local
town. The menstrual continued to mimic the bar tune, and the inn seized to
make nothing but a whisper and a skitter. Then, the birds stopped chirping,
and the menstrual stopped playing, the bars music couldn't be heard and
everybody within the inn had awoken. Everyone rushed outside, and nothing
they thought in a hundred years would happen, happened. It was snowing, In
the month of June. The sprites of Eldwood had no clue what had happened,
they spent years and years and years to try and fix it to the way it was,
but it never worked. They struggled to keep the balance, and they still do,
its the only thing they can do..
More Story line and Lore to come. This just gives you a little gist of it.
